Jorge Luan Rodrigues Teixeira

Earned a Ph.D. (2019) and a master’s degree (2014) in Social Anthropology from the Museu Nacional (UFRJ/Brazil). Received his bachelor’s degree (2011) in Social Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC/Brazil). Teixeira has been an Assistant Professor at the Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú (UVA/Brazil) since 2016. His latest researches are mainly focused on rural anthropology and environmental anthropology, concentrating particularly on studies of ethics and morality; mobility, family, and kinship; human-animal relations.
